xxX WELCOME xX Updated: 13.05.07 (Sunday, May 13th, 2007)( ^_^x )  Wow. Once again, this has been cruising on it's own
for more than half a year.... I'm feeling a bit guilty here. But, as an excuse to offer, I couldn't make a decent layout for this past half a year. Oh, it feels nice to finally be able to go
back to coding!!!! Nedless to say, I've forgotten a few things.... But I'm kinda proud of this layout. I've completely revamped the style, even did some brushing
on the original picture!!! And, notice the headers along the side. Yup yup. Yes, I've recently gotten into Rurouni Kenshin... it is a little silly, but the OVA's are
awesome. And then also, I'm on episode 4, and I've heard it get's much better later on... so I can't wait. And I've also started watching Death Note and Samurai
Deeper Kyo... and still watching Bleach. I'm probably not going to return to Naruto, just because it's gotten really fanserviced and lame. Anyways... Yes, "Wanderer"
cause that's what I'm feeling like these past months.... the song is "Life is like a Boat" by Rie Fu. I think it's an awesome song, actually. Well, obviously.
The funny thing is that whilst I was back in Russia this summer, I wrote a song that was eerily similar to this one. Same subject matter and same words, as well
as a very similar key. Weird.
Anyways.... I've been collecting plushies over the past half a year, and added a few of them to my collection - the most recent being a GE Himura Kenshin who I think is very cute:
Awww... isn't he the cutest thing ever? In the second photo, he's lying on my kimono next to the book "Across the Nightingale Floor" by Lian Hearn, and I recommend everyone read it. It's very well written. And it almost made me cry - and everyone knows that any book that even has me thinking about crying gets a thumbs up from me. Anyways, I'll be prancing along now, since my job here is done, and I've got a crapload of things to do and food to eat. is moving on to another sewing project! [i'm getting to kinda enjoy the process now... xP] This time, she will be making the long-awaited Rau tribute plushie,
because over the last few days she has come to the realisation that Rau has completely flipped her life around. (trust me, you feel VERY weird when you realise how much impact a character made on your life)
First of all, he made Kali think about her future (ironic since he himself didn't want one for humanity), and actually STOP complexing about teenage problems (although
she still does it when he's not looking) and OPEN HER EYES. Yes, believe it or not, an anime character CAN change your life, and in a good, non-obsessive way.
Now Kali takes Bio 11 whlist being in grade 10, DOES HER HOMEWORK ON TIME (once again, procrastinating when Rau isn't looking) and does a whole lot of other wonderful
and helpful things that she wouldn't have done while she was suffering from the aftermath of the pink-ditz complex. Yes. Rau is love. And I love him so ^^. Also deciding
to make a Rau tribute plushie because my quiet obsession for him came and peacefully settled in at around this time a year ago. He's just too cool for words.
Now onto more unpleasant things.... First of all, my wallet was stolen on the bus a few days ago, so I felt like murdering someone... the inability to do which i compensated
by sacking a few of our more stuck-up "boys" in the wonderful rage-quencher game called "dodge ball". You know, i usually can't aim that good. Sometimes rage is a wonderful thing.
Then, we are buried in homework up to the neck - by our wonderlicious Bio 11 and French teacher, with Humanitites icing on top. Oh, and as a cherry, Kali was stupid
(or obsessed) enough to decide to take Extra-Curricular Japanese - which is also a homework load equivalent to Hum. I'm not even going to talk about the whole absurd
reality of having to take personality quizzes online for planing - the wonderful subjects where we learn: where, how, when and for how much to buy drugs, and also
such wonderful tid-bits like "sitting on a boy's lap will make you pregnant". Extravaganza-bananza. Like "And how EXACTLY are we sitting? clothes off or on?"
So i go into a fabric store today, right? After school - early dismissal. And i simply cannot find ONE piece of caucasian skin-coloured fabric. NOT ONE. I searched for about 45 MINUTES before i found something remotely close to asian. Yellow-ish tinge. And here's the question... WHAT THE HELL??? I'm certain there are more people interested in buying that kind of fabric than there are individuals who are seeking the wonderful combination of poo, diarrhea, and baby purple coloured fabric with some weird chamomile-and-squiggle pattern. Geez. Well, i'll go through a lot to make the perfect Rau, since the current predicted budjet is climbing over $60. Oh well. wish me luck in my riscky juggling act. to make a desperate update, don't i? Yeah, i think a new layout is in order. Yeah. You can expect one soon, as well as a new addition to my j00ly family. Not in that way, dumbbutt.
I meant another philosophical fatalistic kid on my list of respected people. In case you havent noticed, I've become a Hyu(u)ga Neji fan[girl]. Ok, so I don't go running around
shoving Neji up and down people's throats. Cause he's so mature he doesn't deserve such shameless acts in his presence. (Not that I've ever done something like that anyways....
well, with the minor exception of trying to bring back to light some of the pitiful fanatics of Kira Yamato, but i never shoved Rau down their throats. Instead, I beat them
them over the head with a giant mecha fist. ^^) yeah.... Most likely, Neji will be getting some kind of shrine page thing, as well as [although i haven't decided on that yet]
this blog featuring him for a little while.
Well... uh.... there are a lot of events requiring some jotting down about my stay in the rectu-ahmean my lovely computer-geek hometown. All you need to know is that i haven't smoked (but i did drink) meat a lot of mature and interesting guys and seen my friends again. Yupyup. Ackkiddy-ack. a very long time is the answer. Between photoshop suddenly shutting off when i'm in the middle of doing something, not having enough memory and trying to find a picture
that fits, as well as dreamweaver acting retarded... instead of the hour i have planned, i spent about three days. Of course, Itake-kun helped me a lot..
by boosting my confidence. xD Anyways, new layout: the image of sasuke i found on the internet and edited to not make it look icky. Then i did random photoshop
brushes on it and stuff... the words are lyrics to "Home Sweet Home" by Yuki. Because i think it fits the mood... somewhat. A funny side note to the image:
i went hiking with my family yesterday, and when we were coming down, there was this amazing view of Vancouver Island that looked very much like
the view sasuke in the image is looking at. So of course, i pulled out Itake, made him stand on the snow, took my step-dad's digicam and took a picture.
you'll see it popping up soon enough. I might look a bit bleh because i was trying not to get the electric wires in the image... cause that just ruins it. right?
People look at me funny when i come out with Itake... It's not fair. So they have an underwear fetish - why can't i have a plushie fetish?
I removed all of the other thingsies here, because i hate eating my own bandwith.... So if you happened to be an evil direct-linker - tough luck for ya. Gah. anyways. It feels so much better now. And the Vestige song i'm listening to is starting to get on my nerves.... Time to switch. |
